Product Data

Soluble in ethanol, acetone and ethyl acetate, insoluble in petroleum ether, dioxymethane, and insoluble in carbon tetrachloride, benzene and water. Good storage stability, a non-polluting second antioxidant.

Application

This product is used as an antioxidant for natural rubber, diene synthetic rubber and latex, and also for polyethylene. It is effective in protecting against oxygen, weathering and static ageing, and is also effective in protecting against copper damage and overcoming the adverse effects caused by excessive sulphur during crystallisation. It can be used alone or in combination with other antioxidants (such as DNP, AP and other non-polluting antioxidants) to obtain obvious synergistic effects. It is easy to disperse in rubber, does not change colour in sunlight and is slightly polluting. When used alone the dosage is generally 1-1.5 parts, when the dosage exceeds 2 parts, it will produce the phenomenon of clear frost. The dosage in latex foam rubber is 0.5 parts. The crystal is not suitable for use in food-contact rubber products because it has a bitter taste.

Storage

It should be stored in a cool, dry and well-ventilated place. Packaged products should be protected from direct rabbit sunlight and are valid for 2 years.

Packing

25kg plastic woven bags, paper-plastic composite bags, and kraft paper bags.
